UBC: Low match/Match

For U Toronto, come back here after you indicated potential major(s)… I know many successful applicants to U Toronto were in the top third in their high school classes (and a valedictorian definitely is one; looks like your school is as hard-grading as an average Alberta or Quebec high school) but what SAT scores are asked from applicants depend on the major.

the major his friend wants is B.Sc in bio or bio related major and the friend is valedictorian of his class

(hahahahaha lollll yassin)

U Toronto: Reach (I am not sure at all whether it’s a reach or a high reach, but what I am sure about is that life sciences is in the reach range)

@wissam25 well there you have it

U Toronto: reach
UBC: match (im not too sure about this though)

what should be improved for high matches with both universitites

SAT score, more ECs. Bump those up

More ECs is advice that is only applicable at UBC; even so, after a certain point, any additional EC will not do much for a student.

If one wanted to improve on the SAT, aim for 31+/2100+.

thank you, and will do
