<p>Being out of state for Berkeley makes it more difficult to get in but its definitely not impossible since you have a high GPA and assuming that you will get good SAT scores. Cornell will probably be a low reach as it is pretty much for everyone. Stanford, is pretty much all luck (as it is for everyone); if you can convey that you will be a good match through your short answers and essays then you will raise your chances. And assuming that you’re a sophomore, you still got plenty of time, so stay active and keep up the good grades. Good luck.</p>
