<p>I got a 181 or 182 on the Soph PSAT, then a 183 on my junior one, but both were without studying and to some extent without knowledge that I was even going to take it that day. Anyways, my SAT came out a 2080 1st try, so the PSAT isn’t the BEST indicator. Absolutely do the SAT, although many people do say that it’s easier to score higher on the ACT, so IDK. Subject Tests are a must. Try to be more involved with your EC’s and keep that rank and GPA up, (do well on your standardized tests obviously) and you should be in good shape for your schools.
