Hi I applied EA for the University of Chicago and was wondering what my chances were since it's such a selective school I know that no matter what nothing is for certain but I just wanted to know what other people thought
My ACT score is a 32
I have a 4.0 GPA
Including my senior year I have taken 10 AP courses offered at my school (IB isn't offered) including AP World(5), Euro, Human Geo, Stats(3), US History(4), BC Calculus, Psychology(5), Lang(4), Lit, and Gov
If its not AP I mostly take the Honors (Level One classes)
I'm an AP Scholar with Distinction
I have ran track for all four years of high school
I work Part-Time
I've played select soccer all through high school
Model UN for 11th and 12th grade
I ran XC for my senior year and made Varsity
I was in the People to People Program
Part if NHS
Student Council for four years
I participate in a Youth Summit for the past two years to help the inner city kids in my town
Key Club all four years and now an Officer
Vice President in a class of 600+
I'm 9/600+
Part of Spanish National Honor Society
My letter of Rec were great
My essays were average I would say (I've read some other peoples and they were very good)
And my Common App essay was pretty alright as well
I know none of you can say for sure if I can get in or not but do I have a strong chance you think?

I’m a female looking to major in Political Science btw

I would say you have a chance- it is probably in your possible, or low reach, just because of how difficult/selective UChicago is. Have you showed interest in the school- interview, visits, staying in touch with your regional admissions dean? Good Luck!
