Chance for UCLA and USC.

So the semester's done and my junior year is over. My final stats to be submitted for the college apps are pretty much in lockdown (with the exception of SAT IIs).

Washington resident--Female--Asian.
GPA (uw): 3.76
Course Rigor: IB diploma with all IB classes junior and senior year, and all possible honors freshman and sophomore year. I also took some AP tests, but results haven't come in yet.
SAT I: 2220 (780M 790W 650CR)
SAT II: will take literature, biology, and math II
ECs: Dance--national 3rd place + a bunch of regional awards.
NHS--2 years
Japanese Honor Society--1 year
And some other clubs at school...
And I have a job working at the library.
I sometimes also substitute teach dance at my studio.

I feel less and less confident as the year progresses, but I'm hoping I still have some hope left of getting in. I'm planning on really working hard this summer to come up with amazing essays. I really want to get into USC's Marshall School of Business, but I heard that it's okay if I don't make it as a freshman too and I could try again after getting admitted to the school in general first.

So what are the chances of UCLA and USC (mostly USC)? And if anyone is knowledgeable about the two schools, are there any things I can do to make up for the fail GPA still?

I would say that USC is match. Then again, I dont really know much about the school itself, I’m just basing my answer on the fact that two of my friends with stats about the same as yours got in. Both of them got good scores in their SAT 2 though. But also, they did APs and it is tougher to get into a good American University with IB as opposed to AP, I think

I think you can defiantly think you can get into USC no problem, i don’t know anything about their business school so I can’t help there

ok, that’s good because USC is my first choice… What about for UCLA? I think my GPA is too low…

If anyone else knows anything about marshall school of business in USC, please do let me know how hard it is to get into that!
