Chance for UCLA/SD/Berkeley and IVYs

I really appreciate everyone who is taking the time to read this or skim it at least to give me some sort of a response to what my chances are. Ideally, I would look, and I have, around the forum to see other people who have posted threads and to find a someone with a situation similar to mine and then read the responses, thus saving my time and yours. The only reason I am further flooding the forum with another “chance me” is because I have a good secondary school record but my EC’s aren’t up to the task along with my test scores (which is a unique situation upon the looks of the thread). Now I can’t change the past and I do regret not doing more over the summer or during the school year, but I would greatly appreciate if I could get advice on what I can do from now on as a junior over the summer. I again appreciate your time. Chance at UCLA, UCSD, UCB, and IVYs if possible (even I’m only hopeful for IVYs)

I’m not terribly familiar with the UCs, except for UCB and UCLA, and I’d say those are reaches, and the Ivies are high reaches. You could use some more ECs, but you have a good course load. GPA is solid. The SAT/ACT definitely needs to increase though, and by a sizable amount.

Bring up the SAT scores and you’ll be in better shape. Good luck!

EDIT: What are you looking to major in? You might want to consider an internship.

i definitely don’t think UCB and UCLA are reaches. DEFINITELY increase your SAT score though and i think you’re in at both. even with that sat score- i’ve seen people with very similar stats get in ( i wouldn’t risk it though by not having the sat retaken)

and of course the ivies are reaches, they’re reaches for almost everyone. if you get your sat score high enough and have amazing writing skills - i wouldn’t be surprised if you get in at least some of them like cornell.

please chance back!
