chance for ucla, usc, ucsd?

gpa 3.45
with a lot of ec and at least two good recommendations.
taking 3 honor class already, going to have six by fall..going to have honored transcript.
one award on a speech contest

i want to go ucla or usc..and ucsd as back up..
but i know my gpa is really low..
i wonder if there is a chance for me to get in ucla or usc.
i wanted major in communication, but i heard ucla comm is really hard to get in so i was thinking to change to psyc..
is there going to be a chance for me to get in ucla or usc comm major or ucla usc psyc major?

o btw.
i only have one more major requirement to finish..
and that depend which major i want to do...
poli science for comm major or bio for psyc major..
still don't know...

UC's do no accept letters of rec, generally. Unless it's for something like UCLA Film.

You need to have most if not all your prereqs done, and if psychology is your alternate major, complete those pre-reqs as well.

thankss
i just need to complete one more pre-reqs for both psyc and comm major..
but i am really worried about my gpa...

your gpa is barely even close to complete

you still don't have your spring grades, you still have summer and fall to go too

so don't evne think about chancing yourself yet, it's pointless.
Just focus on what you need to do to improve your GPA in the meantime

Also, to be considered for UCLA Communication Studies you need a 3.5 GPA. But you still have time so don't be discouraged.

i wouldn't do communications, your gpa is too low already.

people like the poster above didn't get in with a 3.91 gpa.

mebe UCSD??
