GPA: UW 3.73 (the highest GPA you can get at my school is a 3.88) On a 4.0 scale my GPA would be a 3.84.

As far as high school rigor goes:
3 IB classes (8th grade year)
All honors classes freshmen year (I used to go to school in Tennessee, but then moved to Philadelphia sophomore year). At my current school only the science classes are considered honors, and no APs are offered.

<p>I would say that you have a good chance of getting in. Try to take SAT 2 tests in areas that you are strong (preferably science) and maybe take the ACT one more time but other than that everything else looks pretty good.</p>
<p>Be sure to explain on your extra comments section of the application the lack of honors and AP’s at your school if necessary. UC’s consider you in the context of resources.
I will always say this: FOCUS ON THE ESSAYS. I’ve seen the best of the best students get rejected for terrible essays and I’ve seen mediocre students get in due to amazing essays. Sell yourself while still being humble. Think, what is a typical essay like and then avoid that. Spend at least 2 or three months on your essays. You won’t regret it. Good luck(:</p>
