<p>Calculate your UC GPA, see link: <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/&lt;/a&gt;
Here is the Freshman Profile for 2014: <a href=“http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_fr/Frosh_Prof14.htm”>http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_fr/Frosh_Prof14.htm&lt;/a&gt;
Your GPA is a little low, but your ACT is above the 75 percentile. I do not see your intended major which can make a difference on your chances.<br>
UCLA: Low Reach/High Match
I would submit only your ACT and you should consider taking 2 SAT subject tests.</p>

<p>UC GPA is 4.14 and major is biology/biological sciences</p>

<p>pls respond</p>

<p>Agree, low reach/high match.</p>

<p>SAT is low so you would have to rely on ACT score.
You will be paying full fees to attend. CAn you afford $55K to $60K per year to attend?
Indian is considered ORM.</p>

<p>yes, i can.</p>

<p>thanks for the input.</p>

<p>It will be tough for you to get in because your ACT score is just okay, not at the competitive level.</p>

Just to update, I got rejected =)

Sorry to hear…keep your head up. UCLA really isn’t that formulaic with its acceptances. I know one guy who wrote a stellar essay, was probably around the 4.0 range, but didn’t really have any leadership or school-related extracurricular. He got in over more “well-rounded” students, IMO. It’s tough to predict.
