<p>I am currently in 12th grade at a private school
my 9th and 10th grade year i really screwed up, but my 11th grade year i got like a 3.8 GPA
but because of my 9th and 10th grade year i have a average High school GPA of 3.1 so far
my SAT 1's arent that great either, its like a 1500
havnt taked SAT 2's yet and will do that this Nov
i have about 200 community service hours
im in math club
and i have a year of football
if i write a very good essay and since UCM is a new UC school</p>
<p>do u guys think i could get into UCM? so what other UC schools could i get into maybe some cal states too?</p>
<p>You might be able to get into Merced, but your chances are only average. Even though they're a new school, your GPA isn't too strong, your test scores are poor at best, and your extra curriculars are not too strong. You should probably try for some CSUs, the best of which are CSU Fullerton or Long Beach. Another school you might want to check out might be UC Riverside or UC Santa Cruz</p>
