Thanks to all that chance! I ask that those who chance chance me based on the worst possible SAT scores (2090 single sitting, 2130 Superscore) because who knows if I will get a higher score on standardized testing,

I am not experienced in Chancing people, but this comment will helps others who can

Thanks mate

You are a very strong candidate for all the UCs as well as USC That said, I bet at least 2 of them reject you. (which 2 is the hard part)… none of the ones you list should be considered a safety. Just to be on the safe side, perhaps add UCSC to your ap list.

Ivies are a long-shot for everyone. A few more SAT points wouldn’t hurt.

I don’t know enough about UVA or Carnagie Mellon to provide meaningful feedback.

How about Santa Clara and one of the Claremont schools too?

Good luck.

UCI, UCSD, NYU, and UCSB are matches. UCLA, UCB, and USC may be a little harder but it is definitely possible. It is hard to chance for the Ivies (like it is for anybody else on CC). If you can increase your SAT score, you definitely have a good shot at UCLA and UCB. However, your extracurriculars are strong because it is easy to see the passion and dedication.

Just curious, should I apply ED II to NYU?

Especially for UCB and UCLA, I’d say that they heavily emphasize their admissions based off of GPA and ACT/SAT. That being said, you def need to work on your SAT, while your GPA is set. Therefore, I’d say that UCB and UCLA are both low reaches atm, but if you get at least a 2200 or above, I think they would be match/high match.

Chance back? Thanks.

From what I understand, the UCs don’t super score.
Get some more safeties.

Agree completely with the two commenters above me!
