Applying to (in order of preference):
UC Irvine
UC San Diego
UC Davis
Cal Poly SLO
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UC Santa Cruz

I figure it won't happen with UCLA and Berkeley, but I'm applying just in case even though my top choice is UCI and I would likely go there over any other school.

Are you serious? Frankly, I could say with confidence that you’ll get into at least UCSD. LA and CAL are definitely realistic for you. You have the grades (GPA and SAT wise). You should be fine. UCs aren’t expecting perfect students with stellar ECs. It’s only a UC after all, and not an Ivy…

Honestly, i think you have a solid chance of getting into ANY UC. These schools have So any applicants every year that admissions are based largely on numbers. Your SAT score is pretty solid and your GPA is quite good as well. I dont think you should be worrying too much about the UCs :)

Thanks for the comments, I hope I don’t come across as one of those people who ask even though they know they have clear shots of getting in schools. But it’s good to have some perspective. I’m going for computer science, so I imagine that might be a tad more difficult?
