I know USC isn’t a UC but still curious Thanks and will chance back! Also, how easy is it to transfer from a L&S math major to engineering? Is this a good list what are some schools I should add?
USC-low reach
UCI-match
UCSD-high match
UCLA-low reach
UCB-low reach
UCSB-low match
UCD-high match
@collegebound1516 Thanks! Need a chance back? Leave a link!
I agree with the first poster.
I agree with the first one. For Georgia Tech you might not get in because of your GPA but your SAT score is pretty good. If your essays and rec letters are good then you have a chance. I don’t know much about Carnegie Mellon. Chance me please? Thanks in advance! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1819452-what-are-my-chances-of-getting-into-unc-chapel-hill.html#latest
@purpleunicorn16 chanced you back!
I would say that you’re pretty competitive for most UC’s with your test scores and GPA except UCLA. UCLA would be more of a low reach, as would USC. I’m not very familiar with the other schools you listed so I’m sorry I can’t be of much help there. I would say give your all on your essays because you’ve done as much as you can up until now. It’s up to the admissions gods now.
PS could you also chance me?

Your SAT score isn’t high enough for these colleges to overlook your low-ish GPA. I think you should retake it (or try the ACT), and get a 2100+/32+.
@QuiteAverage90 Suppose I get a 2100, then what would my chances be?
@ILoveCSE If you get a 2100+:
UCB, UCLA, USC, and Carnegie Mellon will still be reaches.
Georgia Tech and UCSD will still be low reaches.
UCD will still be a high match.
UCI and UCSB will become matches.
