Please chance me and if you could please tell me what would be a better option besides applying to UC's based on my statistics. I come from a low income, immigrant( moved here 4 years ago) family.
Should I apply to a Cal State too?

Thanks in advance

Your chances at UC Berkeley are low, but you do have special circumstances, so I don’t know how that will work out. However, I advise you to apply to Santa Cruz and Merced because you gpa is not the best and you don’t want to be rejected everywhere. You should apply to a Cal State as a safety school.

top UC’s would be very high reaches if you were a normal student, but i can’t really say that if you have special circumstances. I agree with theRAD when he says apply to the lower UC’s and a cal state. if money for apps was in issue i’d honestly not apply to berkeley and instead apply to UCSC. but if its just you don’t want to go to their schools than good luck!

I would say that UCSD is youir reach. Davis is high match and Santa Barbara is a solid match. Your GPA is a bit low, so Berkeley and LA might be too out of reach for you.

And try Cal State!

Whats Cal States would be my matches for me that are decent?

UC GPA – 3.68
UCLA, UCB – high reach
UCSD – reach
UCDavis, UCIrvine – low reach
UCSB – high match
UCR – high safety

i’d say you have a very rigorous schedule for a 4th year multilingual immigrant, and they’ll see that through transcripts and essay; however, your C’s aren’t good.

Ucb-maybe!!!(most likely)
ucla-maybe!!!
Ucsd-ur in
ucsb-ur in
usd-ur in

^Disregard the post above please, those are unrealistic chances that will get your hopes up.

yeah I know that^ Thank you all for chancing me.
