Chance for ucsd,ucsc,uci

Trying to transfer in to Jack Baskin school of engineering under computer game design.

GPA- 3.1 when applying - should be 3.4/3.5 when i transfer
Major GPA - 2.9ish
IGETC - Finished
EC - intern at an app development company + work with people in a video game community to create an addon for a popular video game.

Okay this is where it gets tricky. While i meet tag requirements my major gpa is lower than the minimum, but should be up before i transfer, but i don't know if i will be fine since i might be missing one of the required courses.

Courses i've taken for CS

Java @@ i got a c in this class
C++
C++2
Data Structure
Computer Architecture
Calculus 1 in progress ( Expecting an A to bring me back to a 3.0)
Calculus 2 planned
Theories of Computation finished + Discrete Math planned(if i dont get it this is the one ill be missing)
software engineering planned
part 1 of the physics series planned.

To meet the required courses by spring im currently talking to the teacher that offers Discrete math at my school. but my CS teacher recommended me to take it @ uci during winter/spring/or summer session and foward it to ucsc

if anyone had experience transfering within the 3.4-3.5 range help would be gteat.

had to do search on google for what that school was and found out it was at UCSC.

still not sure tho, its SC, might be possible might not, i hear UCSC is easy, it even has the lowest TAG GPA requirement, but who knows. I hope it works out for you, can someone please chance him.

everyone running around asking about themselves and won’t lend a hand.

hah yah, i applied for tag on the first of sept. i should be approved for it conditionally providing that i meet the last 2 courses i have calculus 2 and discrete math. My parents want me to go to UCI though since it closer and i’ll have more than just the basic pre-req of programming + a year of calc.
