<p>GPA: 3.4 UW, 4.9/6 W , 4.16 UF GPA
SAT: 2170(Might give a try at ACT senior year.
Courses: 16 AP Classes, 7 Dual Enrollment(36 Academic classes total by graduation)
Rank: 27/703</p>

<p>Awards: Science Olympiad States and regionals medalist, AP Scholar with distinction, State Speech contest finalist(2 times), Presidents list at local community college, a couple of things from school</p>

150 hours tutoring in Math and Science
100 hours volunteering at local Charity
Classical Indian Dance 7 years
Classical Guitar and Indian drums for 6 years</p>

<p>Job: 20 hours a week at local gift shop from 10-12 grade</p>

<p>You look good for everywhere. You might want to retake the SAT or take the Act just for super high test scores which will make you a more competitive applicant. You UW GPA is pretty low, but most colleges seem to be taking the weighted more into account nowadays so I think you’ll be fine. Good luck!</p>

<p>I will give you some “real” stats from last year.</p>

<p>My son had a 2300 SAT, 3.7 gpa.</p>

<p>He got into Florida, got waitlisted at Emory, and rejected at Chicago. Also rejected at Berkeley and Northwestern, but got into UCLA, from OOS.</p>

<p>I thought he would definitely get into Emory, but as I said, he was waitlisted.</p>

<p>Come on guys. I know you have some expert opinions. Im a junior. Anything I can do to improve my chances? The GPA might got up to 3.5 and I might be able to improve SAT a little.</p>
