I go to a really competitive Catholic school in Metro Atlanta.

My GPA up until junior year is a 3.4 (not sure if it is weighted) but I have a 4.0 right now during my senior year.

SAT: 1880 ACT: 28 but I am taking it again tomorrow.

I have 4 AP classes and I am very involved at school. I am yearbook editor and in a lot of other clubs at school. I also have over 100 hours of community service.

I have worked 25+ hours Mon-Fri freshman year until now and I explained that on my app.

I'm so nervous because I really really want to go to UGA!!

Please tell me the truth, thank you!!

Hard to say with any certainty just because the standards change pretty much every year. Your numbers are pretty solid and you fall in the middle 50% for the SAT and ACT scores from their class from last year. A lot will depend on whether or not your GPA is weighted or unweighted. It seems like your involvement is also pretty good, especially if you have dedication to several clubs over the course of 4 years. Work experience will definitely be a plus as well. If you can fit another AP course in, then I would definitely suggest that since that would count toward your course rigor and that is pretty important in the admissions process.

Hope this helps a little bit!

Well I can’t fit another course in because I am a senior and my schedule is already made but none of my classes (disregarding electives) are on level they are all atleast advanced so I am hoping that will help me out. Thanks so much for the advice though!!

Any more opinions??

I think you are in the middle 50% based on last year but it will depend on the strength of this year’s pool of applicants. Last year they admitted about 500 more students than normal because they thought the changes in HOPE would cause less students to actually enroll but that didn’t happen so it may be a little harder this year.
