Im a junior at a high school in Connecticut

my weighted GPA is a 3.3 (very weak)

I am very interested in math and computer science and have progressed from geometry to AP Calculus BC in the span of 3 years

I am planning to take a math course at UConn over the summer

I have been getting good grades in all my math and science classes

I have been playing JV Basketball for 3 years

I have participated in clubs such as robotics, math club, a charity club called Help and Give

I have tutored math

I will have taken 7 AP Classes by the time I graduate and 9 AP tests

I have a great interest in math and I plan to include that in my essays for UIUC

Can I get accepted into the LAS school at UIUC for Math and Computer Science?

Although the Math & Computer Science major is in LAS, it is not really much easier than the engineering. Your wGPA is very week and I assume even more so with your uwGPA. Do you have a test score yet? Are you in state?

There are many sites like that including this one, parchment, collegedata, etc. They are all comparing your stat with their database. However, most of these sites do not update their database in a timely manner. The admission rate of top schools have dropped significantly in the last few years and the admission stat also went up. Those are mostly not reflected in those sites yet. So just take those chancing for reference only.

No, I am out of state. Although my GPA is weak, I have advanced in math significantly since 9th grade and have shown dedication toward the subject. I have taken may courses to advance my knowledge in the subject. I have also challenged myself by taking a plethora of AP courses. Will UIUC recognize my course difficulty and recognize my dedication toward math?
