<p>I think one of my main hooks that I want to expand upon in my essay is how I was diagnosed with a severe primary spina biffida with complications after removal of a tumor in my spinal cord that I have been forced to deal with my entire life. After almost a dozen surgeries to make sure that I haven't had a regrowth of the tumor I really have an almost intimate connection with medicine and I have been able to grow through that and do better than I thought I would have been able; that and my parent are both doctors haha.</p>
I’m applying this year and I was wondering if you got in and if you did, what was the general trend as far as ACT/SAT scores. (I have a 32 on my ACT and that is definitely the weakest area of my application.)</p>
