<p>I am Hispanic/Latino in a High School, from Central NJ, with over 75% of the students being white or asian. My High School is ranked within the top 200 public High Schools in the US and is very well known by most colleges. </p>

<p>What are my chances to get into the Clark School of Engineering at UMDCP? I'm not sure what specific degree but I know I want to do engineering.</p>

<p>Its a small reach…I know a lot about Maryland as an instate resident as soo many people go to UMD…out of state its a bit harder. if you get your sat to 1900 it would be a match or act to 29…i think with a URM your in though.</p>

<p>What’s your problem with Rutgers engineering? Or Rutgers engineering is your safety? (can’t say absolute since you’re about at the 25% line, even though hitting the the 25% line usually makes any Rutgers unit outside of pharmacy a safety if in-state)</p>
