I've been deferred by MIT and Chicago EA

Thanks

Considering that you got deferred by MIT and Chicago

UMich EA - High Match - Low Reach
Duke, Cornell, Carnegie, Stanford, Columbia, Rice - Reach (you’re applying Carnegie SCS?)

Anyways

Your stats are fine. Your GPA is fine. Your ECs are fine.

Well, good luck. And sorry to hear that you’re deferred from Chicago and MIT. Try to contextualize yourself a bit more by sending in additional information regarding to yourself.

I assume you are applying to UMich CoE. That would be a very high match for you.

Well, UMich is going to release their EA results…sometime soon? By then you can go over to the results thread and take a look. I originally thought I will receive my decision on 15th or something…but it is taking so long this year.
