Chance for UNC Wilmington, ODU

<p>You will have no problem getting into ODU. I know you said you were interested in nursing. Let me advise you that is is extremely competitive getting into their nursing program. They get about 200 applications for 80 spots. When my daughter was looking at colleges for nursing we talked to the head of the Nursing department at ODU. Her advice was to get your RN first then transfer into ODU’s RN to BSN program. She said all of the applicants were qualified, they just don’t have the room for them. A lot of my daughter’s friends who went to ODU did not get into the nursing program and will now be going to nursing school with her at one of the local hospital’s nursing programs. It is like that at JMU, Radford and VCU; which is the hardest one to get into. Just be prepared for that. Good luck!</p>

I was <em>accepted</em> to ODU, and I’m still waiting to hear back from UNCW.</p>

<p>…Okay so thats all the changes that were made within the past few months :slight_smile: I visited the UNCW campus and loved it. I’m out of state, but while I was visiting I was able to speak with someone from the School of Nursing.</p>
