Chance for Univeristy of Washington!

I am writing this for my girlfriend who would like to go to the University of Washington. Her current stats are:

OOS (Hawaii)
GPA weighted/unweighted: 3.9

AP/honors taken: 3 AP, 2 running start courses

rank/%: not sure
SAT/ACT superscored/regular: 550CR \ 650M \ 520 W = 1720 ovarall
counselor rec:: n/a
teacher rec: n/a
essays: n/a
ECs: math league, cross country, swimming, worked since 3rdQ of SO year

Does she seem to be on the right track for the University of Washington? She is currently a junior, and she is a fairly focused student overall. Also, is there anything you would recommend she do in order to increase her chances?

I'd tell her to retake the SAT's and do well on her AP tests as she could get an AP Scholar award, which I think the University loves. She's definitely on the right track.

yeah, i think she is doing great. but if she could retake the sats next fall and improve, that would be good.

for OOS students applying for UW,
I would say she might wanna get her SAT score above 1800 or 1900.
Other than that, she's definitely on the right track.
I think she might even get in with her current stats :)!
Good luck ;)

Average GPAs at UW are about 3.64, so she's okay there. But as everyone else has already pointed out--the SATs are the problem.

With a little work (another 80 points or so, preferably on the CR test), she should be on her way to UW for sure.
