<p>Hey guys early admission deadlines are soon and I am wondering if a couple of you can chance me for the University at Buffalo, I will list my major as Business Administration on my application. My grades are listed below:</p>

<p>Average: 83%</p>

<p>SAT Score: 1040/1600 (530-Math)(510-CR)</p>

<p>AP Classes:
AP US History 81% in Class 2 on Exam
AP Government currently taking (senior year)</p>

<p>Class Rank:
Bottom Half :( (212/300)</p>

<p>Volunteer Work:
Volunteered at numerous soup kitchens in 2010-2011</p>

<p>Sports:
V. Wrestling (4 years)
V. Tennis (4 Years)
V. Lacrosse (4 Years)</p>

<p>Clubs:
Spanish Club
Business Club</p>

<p>This is just a quick summary of my college application, I took a total of 5 business courses my high school career including senior year and have gotten 1 letter of recommendation. I of course will be applying early decision to hopefully increase my chances, i'm just not 100% sure how good my chances are.</p>

<p>The class rank doesn’t really match your GPA - is your high school extremely competitive? In any case, the poster above is right - that is going to be a very big detriment. However, your application looks fine in general. You’ve shown interest in business, your SATs are on target for a state school (I’m assuming this is SUNY Buffalo?). I would suggest playing towards your strength in business/history and make sure the admissions officers know you have passions in both! Best of luck!</p>
