Chance for University of Florida?

okay so here's what it is:

Freshman year I was a slacker and I think i was around a 2.7 unweighted by the end of it.
Sophomore year I woke up and got all A's and B's (mostly A's) and by the end of it I was at a 3.2.
Now I'm a junior and after the first semester I was at a 3.3. I've gotten only two B's this year and I'm taking 4 AP's and 3 honors courses and my district weighted GPA (includes non-academic classes, which UF does not do) is a 3.9.

My meaningful extracurriculars/community service include:
-Started a club at my school that I am the president of and I organize volunteer events for its members
-Junior Class Vice President
-Ambassador for my school (I give tours)
-NHS & NSHSS (National Society of High School Scholars [yea, I've never heard of it either, but it's something at least.])
-I am a member of a successful F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Team
-Volunteered at Habitat For Humanity's ReStore, a homeless shelter, the Humane Society, a Teacher's Supply Depot, and a local elementary school

My SAT score after taking it one time only was a 1720 (1170 w/o writing)
I have yet to take ACT but I am registered to take it in April.

After all of that, I also go to one of the top 10 public college-prep high schools in the nation.

Yes, I realize my GPA is a little shy of the average for UF and my test scores are dangerously low as of yet.
Hopefully my test scores will go up, but I'm wondering if a high test score and extra curriculars like mine would be enough to give me a chance to get into UF?

Does UFlorida look at Sophomore and Junior mostly, or all of high school? Also, what’s your cumulative GPA (all the years combined)?

I think you have a good chance if you get a high SAT score, because the 75th percentile for the ACT is 30… and the CR and Math for the SAT are 680 and 700 respectively.
Chance me?

They look at all of high school unfortunately for me…
And I calculated what my predicted GPA will be by the end of this year the same way UF will calculate it and it was a 3.8…
So no matter what I do, my GPA will be a little lower… So my admissions is really riding on test scores and extracurriculars it seems.

3.8 is okay, as long as you get an SAT score that won’t hurt you (or an ACT score). Your ECs are good, so if you have a 3.8 cumulative, I would say your chances are relatively good.
Either a low reach or even a match.

Your gpa is a little low for uf but you have great ec’s and I’m sure youll do better if you take your sats again, that usually happens the second time around, plus you still have those act scores and if you do good, you’ll probably have a fair chance ! Good luck, and I’d you don’t mind chancing me back for fsu I’d appreciate it :)
