Chance for UNiversity of Illinois Urbana

<p>I applied to computer science for UIUC and I just want to know if I have a chance based on my stats.
SAT: 1970 740 Math /610 Reading/620 Writing
GPA: 3.6 unweighted
Class Rank: 27/420(top 7 percent)
7 APs and everything else was honors for the most part in high school
AP Computer Science
AP World History
AP Literature
AP Physics B
AP Physics C(senior)
AP Calc AB(senior)
AP Bio(senior)
ECs:100+ hours in school community service for teachers
Did a church event where we distributed food and clothing to theh homeless
Robotics Club 2 years
Medicial Club senior year
Volleyball Junior year
Soccer and Cross Country freshman year
Sunmmer Job for three years which involved home repair, electrician work, and cleaning.</p>

<p>Along with that I am a first generational college student and I'm out of state. Can someone tell me if I have a decent shot.</p>

<p>I’m no expert, but as a fellow student I think that’s overkill for UIUC. Your reading and writing scores could be better but aren’t low enough to take you out of contention, especially considering the strength of your transcript and your EC’s. While UIUC is a good school, it’s not Ivy League, so with a profile like yours, I wouldn’t panic. As long as you can write decently (for the essays) I think you’re almost guaranteed to get in.</p>
