  2. USC- Mechanical Engineering (Viterbi)
  3. USC- Business Admin (Marshall)
  4. NYU- Finance (Stern)

I just wanted to know how my chances would differ in each school! Thanks!

Anyone?

Honestly, I think you have great chance to both schools but I know for USC it is a lot more difficult to apply from out of state. However I feel that they are both matchs for you and are definitely possibilities. Also, I do not know how you would vary per school in USC but I assume it would be practically the same percentages.

Stern: Reach
USC Viterbi/Marshall: Reach
USC Dornsife: Low Reach

USC Dornsife LAS: High Match
USC Viterbi - Reach
USC Marshall - Reach
NYU Stern- Low Reach

GPA is really the only thing that might be holding you back, but you compensate in other areas. The internship will look good to both schools.

Your GPA is not competitive for all.

I have similar views as uclaparent, While there may indeed be some grade deflation at your school to get the low GPA, your AP test scores don’t support that. Grade Deflation would mean you get low GPA, but high test scores.

@uclaparent9 I understand it might be uncompetitive for NYU stern, but what about Dornsife at USC? @brownbears1332

^ All I can tell you is: Definitely apply and maybe you get admitted but do not put too much of hope on that.

Your gpa is lower than those schools tend to accept however your rigorous schedule and unique ecs may make up for it. Those schools tend to focus more on the transcript and the fact that youre challenging your self as opposed to just grades at their surface. Both low reaches in my opinion.
