Chance for UVA please?

<p>I've applied Early Action, well, on behalf of Questbridge. I was a finalist so now I'm just waiting to see if I get matched to any of the schools.. but if I was to not get matched, I would like to know if I would still be accepted. UVA is my first choice for Questbridge.</p>

<p>Top 10%
27 out of 465ish?
SAT I:
2160 total
740 (math), 730 (writing), 690 (critical reading)</p>

<p>SAT II: US History - 710, Math II - 680
(taking a couple more in December, biology and math II again)</p>

<p>GPA: 4.3 (weighted), 3.8ish (unweighted)
AP's - BC Calculus (4), US History (5), I've taken more but they've all been 3's... :/</p>

<p>Senior Courseload -
AP Lit, AP Biology, Dance, AP Psychology, AP French, AP Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, Linear Algebra</p>

<p>Intended Major - Math/Biology (maybe English)
Applied to their school of Nursing though.</p>

<p>From Maryland
Income 60kish (single parent)
Hispanic, female
I think I had good rec's, and my essays were good (to me anyway...)</p>

-Volunteering at Mercy Medical Center over the summer
-Total service learning hours (little under 200)</p>

<p>Assuming Questbridge means URM status, you are in great shape for UVA OOS (would be surprised if you did not match with UVA if you ranked it first). Even if non-URM, you have a very good chance at getting admitted OOS given your rank and SATs. UVA has lots of students from Maryland, and I suspect (although just my guess) that the standards for MD OOS are a bit lower than other OOS becuase UVA knows there is a very good chance MD students will attend.</p>
