*My EC's arent that plentiful but I've tried to focus them on working with children, particularly disabled or abused children, because i'm almost positive that I want to do something with child psychology. Hopefully they look somewhat focused? I also can't be as involved as I'd like to be because I need to work so much.

*Please chance me for UVA, USC (Carolina, not CA), PSU(hopefully just a safety), UCLA, and UC Berkeley (reaches I know), and also for any honors schools or programs that each has. Also suggest similar schools you think I may like! Additionally, if you think i'd be eligible for scholarships at any of these schools please let me know. Thank you :)

You should be a shoo-in at USC, as well as a possible candidate for instate tuition.

you’ll definitely get into USC, and possibly get money. try to get your sats as high as possible because you can probably find a straight cutoff for merit scholarships on the usc website, i applied to alabama and there were very straightforward cuts. i’d say you have a good chance at the honors program at USC, my friend got in with perfect grades but never beat a 2000 sat. apply for psu honors!! i never thought i’d get in, but college admissions are crazy and unpredictable. as for uva, uc berkley, and ucla, i honestly don’t know. uva i’d say you have an okay shot, but people who i thought would get in from my school didn’t. they really value community and leadership. good luck!

could someone tell me about the usc honors program? is it any good for psychology? also do you know of any other schools with a great psychology program that i’d have a shot at?
