Definitely a solid match! Solid gpa, ECs, everything.

Thanks for replying to my thread.

Your GPA is a 3.53 but you show an upward trend. GPA is very important to UW-Madison, so as long as you keep your GPA up, I’d say you have a solid chance. Aim for 3.75+ or higher though.

Class rank is also very important but you did not post it. Nearly 90% of the students admitted are from the top quarter of their class. If this applies to you, then you’re in pretty good shape thus far.

As for SATs, considering you got commended on it, you’re all set.

Again, keep up the work, engage in a challenging curriculum (AP courses!), and continue the upward trend. Provided you do such, I’d say you’re in for UW-Madison.

Try AP English Language and Composition, I personally enjoyed the course, and found the challenge to be worth it.

looks like a good match

I believe you have a solid chance. Somewhere between about 50-70% of admission. I believe that letter shows reflects their interest in you fairly well, showing that you have good chances here. Make sure all your supplemental materials are done well and I would assume you would be in great shape. Best of luck!

most likeley accepted.

Chance back please.

I agree. I think that your gpa is really important. Solid app, I think you’ll get in. I think it’s just as much about the effort as the gpa, and you definitely show to be giving it a lot of effort. Good luck!

bump please

you’ll get in relatively easily. not a safety but not much of a reach either.

bump again

You have a very good chance, especially if you got a letter from them. I’d say a match. Thanks again for chancing me.

Don’t listen to anyone saying your race will get you in “easily.”

You’ll get in because you worked hard and have great scores. Also, the fact that they commended you shows that they think highly of you.

Good job! Let us know if you get in or not.

You definitely have a very high chance for being admitted! Good luck to you!

You’ve got a great chance! I would say it is a high match, not a safety yet, but your chances are great.

Chance me if you have time!

Match. The fact that you already got a letter commending you on your success means that you’re pretty much in.Your grades are pretty strong too.Good luck~

thanks for chancing me. I’d say that you shouldn’t be very worried about getting denied from UW madison, you have a very good chance

If you didn’t get in I would be shocked. Maybe apply to a couple other matches and safeties though just in case!

Chance me back?

I’d suggest applying to more schools, as everyone else has said. Only thing that I can see potentially see hurting you is your GPA, however I’m positive that your SAT score will more than make up for it. I’d call it a match. Just make sure you apply to a safety or two.

I think you have a very very good chance to get in! I’d be surprised if you didn’t.

Your chances seem pretty good, I’d be surprised if you got denied. Thanks for chancing me!

I think that you will end up getting in. Thanks for the chance btw
