<p>D had a 4.0 UW, same # of APs as you (12-- 11 5s; 1 4); 2250 SAT I; 790/770/710 SAT II; tons of ECs and awards. She was waitlisted. Your ethnicity will help you at Vandy. (Yeah, I know at other schools it might be a hindrance but Vandy doesn’t have a lot of Asians.) Also, the fact that you’re from the north will help slightly. (Vandy tends to draw more southern and west coast applicants.) Both of these things can help. Also, if it’s your first choice, apply ED. Vandy’s RD fell sharply this year. Put your best forward and see what happens. You’ve got a great chance, but you simply never know. Best of luck!</p>

<p>Your stats are pretty average for Vanderbilt, I would recommend applying early to distinguish yourself.</p>
