Alright, I'm not gonna provide too much information but would love some feedback.

By the end of senior year, I will have taken 8 AP's:
AP World (5)
AP US (Probably 5)
AP Euro
AP Calc BC
AP Spanish
AP English 12
AP Statistics (Probably 4/5)
AP Biology (Probably 5)

I received an SAT score of 2360. I essentially have a 4.0 GPA, more like 3.95 probably.
A few clubs, however no real leadership position.

In terms of community service, I don't have much. However, I will most likely be doing some sort of cancer research this summer and will be helping at a senior center.

Assuming at the least decent recommendations and decent essays, what are my chances for Vandy/NYU/Mich?

Would any of them be considered safeties for me? Does anyone have any suggestions for safeties that have decent/good business schools?

the schools on your list including Vanderbilt are “matches” for thousands of students who will not be admitted. Vandy is not a Match for anyone. However, you are right in the numbers in some aspects like test scores.
I am not a big fan of cheering for people with fab activities since it is OK to be 17 and only modest in your breadth of leadership etc in my view but activities count at Vandy.

Good essays go a Looooong Way. Good essays are in your power.
Bulletproof strong safety colleges should be something you create and invest in regardless of your test scores. Also be realistic re money. We weren’t. Financial safety also required. No fun to get into a private school you can’t really afford if you have a high EFC (we made this mistake).

Van dy places significant focus on SATs/ACTs. Indeed, last year it may have had the highest 25-75% SAT range in the country. I would try your hand at the ACT and also retake the SAT.
