It is hard to say, because to the top colleges, you are just another kid with pretty good grades and a 2100 SAT.

That’s basically everyone applying to them

You will get into Michigan. I say that because I saw the admission stats for Michigan for a good public high school in New York City, and your stats will get you into Michigan. It seemed surprisingly easy to get into Michigan, after looking at those stats.

With respect to the others, you could get into all of them, or none of them. It is a crapshoot.

USC is very hard to get into nowadays, so my guess is that you will not get into USC, because my brother’s kid did not, and my friend’s kid did not, and they had similar stats to you.

I think you will probably get into Emory. Emory, by the way, is like 25% jewish.

Let me suggest Washington University to you.

^ Sorry, USC is VERY hard to get into and his stats are average, not above average. In 2010, the average admitted GPA was 3.8 and the MIDDLE 50% for the SAT was 2020 - 2230. I don’t know what you’re thinking of. Plus, with the common app implemented this year, USC will only become more selective.

Good SAT but only an OK GPA. Decent ECs, I’ve seen worse and the internship is nice.

Try bringing your GPA up and shoot for a 2200+ on the SAT if you want to improve your chances.

I think Emory is a slight reach. Just make sure to visit if you’re serious. It seems that people get accepted more if they visit and take a campus tour. At least that’s how me and my friends who applied were.

Vandy/NU/USC are a bit harder to get in to, a middle reach. I think NYU is along the same lines with Emory and they are slight reaches. I’m pretty sure you’ll get in Michigan.

And yeah, USC is very hard to get in to these days. I got rejected with 3.9 UW, 4.1 W, 32 ACT.
