<p>Hey, I was wondering if somebody could chance me for W&M Early Decision Application this year. I visited the school a few weeks ago and fell in love. So, without further ado:</p>

<p>Freshman Year:
English I Honors : B+

<p>(Weak, I know. This really kept me down as far as class rank.)</p>

Precalculus Honors: A+ (My school attaches all credited summer courses to the previous year's transcript)

<p>Current Class Rank: 49/222
Current GPA (W): 4.17</p>

<p>I know these grades aren't stellar, but there is an upward trend. Also, I could not take more than 3 AP courses my senior year; I ran out of AP classes.</p>

AP: Bio (5), APES (5), Lang. (5)</p>

National Merit Scholar (Semifinalist currently, awaiting Finalist status)
Award for multidisciplinary excellence (school-specific, so I'm not giving a name)</p>

<p>I attend a rigorous prep school in New Jersey, and have taken the vast majority of the hardest courses my school offers. Sorry for the information overload, I'm just sort of freaking out. Any response would be appreciated, including possible alternatives. Thanks.</p>

<p>That must be one rigorous school with that class rank and your SAT score haha. Although your class rank is low, you have a good gpa and fantastic scores on the SAT. I would say you have a 75% chance to get in, the only hindrance is your rank, but your gpa is still good, so the rank may not matter much. Good luck! Chance back please</p>

<p>I think it looks really good, especially with those SAT’s.
I think that the B’s won’t be as significant if your schedule was the most rigorous the school could offer.</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty solid shot. Just make sure your senior year grades are high and your essays are excellent.</p>

<p>You have a very good chance with a high SAT score that will probably make up for the lower class rank. You didn’t elaborate much on your EC’s but I imagine W&M isn’t as concerned with them. Good luck! </p>

<p>Really good shot honestly, William Mary really looks for the top 10%, but if they read your school profile and see your GPA, that might be overlooked. Not only that but your SAT is well beyond their 75th percentile, probably hovering at their 90th percentile which is good because OOS is so competitive</p>

<p>Only thing you need is some good recs and essays, show focus on your ecs cause they like that.</p>

<p>I’d say your in with these stats, if this is your first choice then great, otherwise you still might want to consider applying to other reaches and safeties</p>
