I know my scores are weak but i'm hoping with my strong grades and EC's that i'll be able to get in. I do plan on taking the SAT again in October to bring up my math score. My dream school is William and Mary and I am probably applying early decision so could somebody please chance me for William and Mary, UNC, UVA, and JMU? I will chance back

Your profile is excellent, but your SAT score [as you have said] definitely weighs you down. With your current stats, I would say:

William and Mary ED - reach (maybe low reach)
UVA - reach
UNC - reach
JMU- match

IMO if you get a 2000 or even a 1900 on your SAT, you have a very good chance of getting into W&M ED.

Good luck! =D

In at JMU, good chance for UVirginia, iffy for W&M.

Your test scores CLEARLY show that either the AP classes you took weren’t hard, or severe grade inflation, because getting a 1780 on your SAT is absolutely pitiful if you have a 3.85/4.3. The people in my school with that kind of GPA have a minimum of 2150. Get your SAT’s WAAAAAY up if you even want to consider william and mary. like you need a minimum of around 300 points to make your class rank/gpa seem somewhat matchable to your scores.

UVA: Reach
W&M: Reach
UNC: High reach (you may as well be applying at Duke)
JMU: Match

William and Mary ED - low reach
UVA - reach
UNC - reach
JMU- match

I think being in state will really help you with getting into UVA and William and Mary. I wouldn’t count on getting in though, but if you had those stats and were out of state they would be definite reaches. In at JMU, reach for UNC.
