I’m confused.

On March 10 you hadn’t taken the ACT:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/1301527-new-act.html

Then on March 22, you had a 34 and were considering retaking:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/johns-hopkins-university/1307696-chance-me-please.html

But there was no sitting of the ACT in March:

http://actstudent.org/regist/dates.html

Lol!

@OP
Man don’t do this chance thing. Do your best, and apply. You never know if you’ll get in or not even if you have a perfect resume. I didn’t have a “perfect” one, and I got in.

Nothing stands out that is catchy for Yale.

Although you seem like a great applicant, there is nothing extraordinary about your resume

Does anybody ever read previous posts??

My advice for you is to don’t say things just to have something to say. Say the things you truly enjoyed and you’ll get into the college that is best suited for you.
Sometimes you’re not rejected from a college because you don’t meet their requirements. It’s because you don’t fit into their environment (for example, Harvard is not as mellow a school as Berkeley or Columbia).
Also, if you didn’t come first place in something, don’t say it. Saying ‘third place’ is synonymous to saying ‘not the best’.

Best of luck!
