<p>Yale’s school of music is open for graduate school admission only. You must apply to Yale College but if your musical talent is that great, you will want to submit a supplemental recording which may be forwarded to the faculty of the school of music for critique and feedback to the admissions office. </p>

<p>One would imagine that the adcoms see more all-state violinists than all-state french horn players and they need talented instrumentalists to fill the orchestra. If there is an institutional need for your instrument (ie. our harpist is graduating and we need another one), that is an extra plus.</p>

<p>Your accomplishements are impressive but I am a bit concerned about your UW GPA of 3.57 but not enough so to discourage an application.</p>
