Very Strong Letters of Recommendation, Great essays

I applied to all my schools early action, being accepted to Fordham and Villanova, and deferred from Notre Dame, Georgetown, and Boston College. Please chance me on my deferred schools. Thanks so much. I'll chance back.

You should be in for BC. But for ND and Georgetown, your SAT and GPA are on the lower side. But you have a great ACT score, you have a decent shot.

i’m not sure about nd, but i think you seem like a strong applicant for it, from what i know. georgetown seems like it might be a reach just because of your class rank, but your test scores and ECs might make up for it. good luck! :)

I used to live in Indiana, and my best friend was an ND hopeful from the first grade.

Notre Dame is a very “selective” institute, not in the general sense. What i mean by this is, they pride themselves on seeking out students who are fully devoted to ND and only accepting the top tier candidates. Consequentially, most people who consider ND their dream school attend Cathedral High School-the fact that this increases your chances is unquestionable. Similarly, a disproportionately large sum of the candidates are legacies.

That’s just what I’ve gathered from speaking with old friends about who got in and who didn’t and their relationships to the school before applying.
