30/70, lower end, unlikely but, you never know. SOM is the most competitive and your SAT’s are unremarkable at best.

thanks for the input, but did you consider everything other than the sat? my gpa is above what the average for their school was.

I’m not expert and you do have some positives but, nothing that distinguishes you from many, many others. Your HS rigor and it’s rank may be a factor.
Did you apply EA, are OOS?

Applying EA.

Well, what were your sisters’ stats?

She is doing her masters in biology now, finishing this may. She has a similar academic profile as me.

no one else gonna reply??

I think that having a sister there helps.

My older sister is an alum.

I got into SOM with an atrocious GPA. (3.28), basically, a B+ish. Weighted.

But I did have two things going for me and that was SAT (2260) and a Letter of Recommendation from a Columbia Business School professor.

so what would you say my chances are?

I got deferred early action btw. Does anyone think I can get in regular decision?

I got deferred last year from and I had a 1250/1600 on the SAT, and my weighted gpa was a 93. I got waitlisted in the RD and then I got denied becuase they had no spots available. Anyway it will be very difficult for u to get in from the RD cause most ppl apply via EA anyway. Btw u culd always transfer to bing.
