you can't make choices, you gotta pick either cas or wharton...

if you get like 34 on act you have a good chance though, mind you wharton gets so many asian applicants of similar qualification

lol i didn't mean it like that, I wanted people to chance me both on Wharton and CAS. haha srry for the confusion.

Sorry, but your chance don't look ridiculously hot right now. Your academics are good, but really I'd like to see 3.9+ GPA and 34+ ACT. The whole "too lazy to play varsity" thing is a real detractor to your app. The business thing is your strong point. However, if you apply to CAS with all of that business stuff on your app, they'll see that you don't think you've got a chance at Wharton and just wanted to get into the school, which is not good. They'll see that your passion is not in CAS.
Another thing with your business awards, I'm not seeing very many 1st places. Since your school is competitive, I think Penn will want to take the best of the best.
So try bumping up your academics, and if you can then go for Wharton, but if you can't then you might want to take a chance at CAS.
Sorry if I was being brutal in this post, but regardless, Good luck!
So I would bump

Nothing stands out about you. Granted, I'm not an admissions officer so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but whenever people post these types of threads I look for something that stands out from the million other chance threads that are posted. Didn't find it here.

Also, Penn prides itself on the fact that it has need-blind admission. Why would you think they did anything otherwise?

you have a good chance. i got in with way less stellar awards

^true.

OP:
i got in too...and with only a county science fair. you have ISEF...good luck to you.

Financial Aid does NOT affect your chances of admission. I'm 100% positive about that, so don't be timid about applying for aid.

what are the min. scores on the ACT/SAT i should score if i have a 3.91 GPA.

I see your chances as being a little better than what most people have been saying...Sure, you do need to stop being lazy as you admit lol, and I hope you can do better when you retake the ACT but ISEF finalist and 4th place is not a trivial title. That'll surely catch the adcom's eye.

Ah, I admit I actually failed to notice that you have international and national awards. I agree with luzbrillante, you're chances are now above average.

@cooledge
It's quite alright, Thanks for the posts! Oh and how much above average??? would ED help?
@Luzbrillante
a sincere Thank You
@psp
lol idk srry
@greens
Thanks alot! You put at least part of me at ease... Thanks!
@ everyone else
Thanks for your posts!

I don't know if youre grades qualify you for it, but if the rest of the app is extremely strong it seems like you might be interested in the M+T program. It is riduculously competitive, but it may be something of interest to you.

Not crazy above average, a 3.7 isn't exactly ideal (and 3.75 weighted sounds low to me too, did your school not let you take many AP classes?). And I'm still assuming you'll raise your ACT.
But I think ED can help you quite a bit, if you're fine with committing, then definitely go for it, it's your best shot.

lol srry for the late reply and
@ cooledge: my school goes off a 4.0 weighted system
and thanks to everyone for replying!

Huh, I don't know how that works, what's the highest you can get unweighted?

@ cooledge 4.0 lol yeah it's weird,

you've got very impressive awards that truly show a talent in business. I think you have a pretty good chance, I think all those awards would make up for a 3.7, which isn't crappy at all. Can you chance me, please?
