<p>I sent my app. 10/30 and I was notified from my GC that he sent my highschool trans. recom. letters etc yesterday and I was wondering if i even stand a chance.</p>

<p>I goto a small catholic private school in NH and
My Gpa is 3.26 and I know for a lot of you guys 3.26 is really low for any colleges
but I really worked hard for these grades :)</p>

<p>My Sat I :1250/1600</p>

<p>ECs (I am just attaching a major part of my resume )
Tae Kwon Do Black Belt 2nd degree. (9, 10, 11)
- Participated in many tournaments since age 13
- taught kids morning classes once a week (summer 2007)

<p>I wish my GC could have sent my trans. a bit earlier
for the better chance and now
I feel like I even lost hope of getting accepted to U pitt
by applying really early.</p>

<p>well I know U pitt is my reach but
I would appreciate any advice or comments

<p>I think you have a decent chance. I had around the same score on the SAT, but I have 4.0something GPA and I got accepted last week. You’re EC’s/rec’s/personal essay (if you sent one in) may make up for the lower GPA.</p>

I got in with a 3.06 unweighted GPA so your GPA should be fine.</p>

<p>I say you are in. I don’t know about a specific program though. I am a freshman in the business school and the average SAT is a 1260 but I know a lot of students with lower sat and gpa than you who are here now so you should be fine. Good luck!</p>

<p>^ they want a diversity of students from all different states/countries. most of the applicants they receive will probably be from Pennsylvania. plus, the school gets more money from out of state tuition.</p>

<p>I just got my first college acceptance letter from Pittsburgh TODAY!! I am soooo happy :)</p>
