junior year ap classes-ap english(4) and ap chem(2) it's horrible i know
im taking 5 ap classes right now
im probably the only one in my whole school who have more than 5 ap classes.
i could have taken more but schdeule conflict messed it up

there's not really any special honors

Extracurriculars:
-National honor society-VP
-mu alpha theta-vp
-academic team
-library

i am going for
Vanderbilt
Duke
Washington University in St Louis
Boston College

If that’s all you have for EC’s, then they certainly could be more numerous. What about community service hours or anything like that? I’m sure there’s more you can list on your application. I’m not the most well-versed in the schools you listed, but…

Vanderbilt - High Match
Duke - High Match
Washington - High Match
BC - Match

I only list it like that because, while your grades and scores are certainly up there, there really isn’t much more going on… Great leadership positions, but you would benefit a lot by doing more.

I agree, you need more community service, or you should look into playing a sport. Your grades and rank are very good, just try to get some EC in…

your low ap scores might show that (i’m guessing this is true) your school isn’t too great, so your gpa doesn’t mean as much as it would if you went to a tougher/more challenging school. a higher score on aps or sats would be better.

Vanderbilt-low/mid reach
Duke-low/mid reach
Washington University in St Louis-low/mid reach
Boston College-low reach

You have good course load, great rank, and a high GPA. But your ECs seem to be below average, though you have some leadership. Vandy, Duke, BC, and WashU are all selective. Best wishes :)

Vanderbilt - high match
Duke - Mid reach
Washington University in St Louis - Low reach
Boston College - Low reach/high match
Decent ACT, very good GPA but ec’s lack a little. It also seems like your school might not be as competitive.

good gpa and rank…but your scores are average. you also lack an impressive list of ECs- thats probably gonna hurt you in the end.

Vanderbilt - low reach
Duke - high reach
Washington University in St Louis - reach/high reach
Boston College - high match/low reach

i seriously suggest adding safeties (unless you already have some and didnt put them up here). if these are your only schools, you could very well be looking at getting into none of them. obviously, i hope things work out for you though and you get into at least 1 or 2. good luck!

Your GPA and ACT score are both really good, but your EC’s aren’t that strong. They’re alright, but the other kids applying to those schools will have more and possibly better ones.
Duke- low reach
Boston College-match
Vanderbilt-match, possibly low match
Washigton U-low match
