Should I take extra SAT subject test? Should I improve my test score more?
Your high school guidance counselor would be much more qualified to talk to you about your chances at the local public university than anyone on this forum.
FWIW, it looks like the business school graduates about 800 majors each year, and their website states that they only directly admit about 200 freshmen. The business school seems particularly concerned about applicants’ verbal skills - the procedure for standard admission to the business school includes a writing test. Your TOEFL score is barely high enough for admission to the university and wouldn’t identify you as a particularly strong communicator. Your SAT scores are in the mid-50 range of admitted students, which is solid but again not outstanding. Given that the business school states that they directly admit the most highly qualified freshmen applicants only, I would personally not expect you to be offered direct admission.
What would be an ideal SAT score for uw bussiness school direct admit program? What if I have a good score like around 2200 and above. Would they still accept me? i’ve heard that uw rejected students who have good test score and high GPA because those students are likely to apply for IVY league school and apply for uw as a safety school.
