If you could chance me and tell me ways to improve my ap that would be great.

What’s your Math+Verbal? WM doesn’t really look at the Writing score.

I’ll echo what everyone else has said, and say that you are most likely in. Nevertheless, stranger things have happened, especially if you’re from Nova. If your M+V is 1250-1300, then there’s a possibility, however slight, that you might not get in.

I would be very surprised if you were waitlisted or rejected though.

If I’ve read it right, you’re still a sophomore, so I’d guess you’ll be taking another round of SAT’s before application time (you should - they don’t want you to sit on your scores.) If you continue on the track you’re on, taking the most difficult courses, top 5%, etc, about the only way you won’t get in if your essay was written in crayon on the back of your parole papers …

Keep doing what you’re doing - your EC’s are good and deep - don’t be fooled into thinking they want dilettantes, with dozens of activities, with no depth. I think any adcom would rather see passion in your EC’s over simple volume.

Not that I think it’s remotely necessary, but as your handle is “premed”, it wouldn’t hurt to seek out a “leadership” role somewhere. But as I say, don’t give up theater to take a leadership role in, say, NHS…

Looks like you’re off to a good start. If you can pursue the IB diploma that is looked upon favorably at W&M given that is a very challenging high school curriculum. Also, try to pursue some leadership roles within your extracurricular activities.

Remember, that being from NOVA is not a disadvantage. W&M reviews NOVA students just as they would students from any other part of VA. The quality of schools in that area and the opportunities provided are well known and the competitiveness of that environment is considered during application review.
