Chance international for austin?

Hello everyone I’m an international from India hoping to get admission in texas austin electrical engineering and my stats are as follows
SAT (first attempt)-2160 M-720 W-720 R-730
SAT (second attempt)-2210 M-690 (SO FRUSTRATED) W- 720 R-800 (yay! )
superscore- 2240
SAT 2- not taken yet but I’m consistently scoring full marks in math 2 and physics in my coaching center so full marks or very close can be safely assumed

Grade 9- 9.2 cgpa out of 10
Grade 10- 9.5 cgpa out of 10
Grade 11- 60% (family problems which will be mentioned in the personal statement)
Grade 12- 90% (I pulled up grade BIG time hoping they’ll notice that)

I interned at L&T which is a world reputed firm in defence systems and did very well.submitted reports and helped prepare for audit. Got stellar external L.O.R

Worked on a project regarding harmful effects of landfills on groundwater with college students. My name figured in their report and I helped in preparing report and did site visit etc.

I have published 2 research papers.
One on the situation of space junk and the other on dark energy and dark matter which was under the guidance of a professor who earlier worked at NASA

active stage speaker and hosted entire school programs
Inter school Debates
Inter school quizzes
Varsity basketball (state and zonal level)
Inter school football
Assuming well above average essays (that’s what my counsellor tells me) and the fact that financial aid is not an issue, what are my chances realistically?
All help is appreciated Thanks a ton guys!
Please don’t sugarcoat and be brutual honest tho

It is always tough to chance OOS and international applicants with UT’s cap enrollment at around 10% for a given class. Cockrell Engineering, Business and Computer Science all will require very top test scores / class ranks / strong essays to be considered. The strong SAT 2 scores in math and physics will surely help for ECE. As for secondary school marks, I think they only consider 9th, 10th and 11th grade (if your school is on a 4 year program like US), so your 11th grade outlier year could impact that. I would think you have a shot at ECE however, the program at Cockrell with the largest enrollment. At least as a reach school. Engineering schools of equally high quality sometimes are easier to get into than UT for international and OOS students–schools like Georgia Tech, Illinois, Duke, UCLA, Washington. So apply to more schools as well. Another thing, Cockrell and UT this last year did not notify many applicants of decision until late February. Good luck!

Thanks so much!!
