Chance into TAMU for engineering.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
I am currently in my sophomore year at a California CC and want to transfer to TAMU engineering (petroleum) in 2014. I will have my physics and general chem done but I may not be able to complete differentials because of the limited amount of CCs that offer Calc 3 over the winter. How badly will this affect my transferability? I am very reluctant in considering an extra semester just to transfer into spring 2015 because I need to be out of my house asap. Thanks in advance.

Extra Info: I already have 62 units from my first year and a 4.0 gpa. I took one 22 unit semester (all math+science: linear algebra, calc, physics, statistics, +chemistry) and came out with all As. If I keep this up will I have a good shot at getting in? I have pretty good ECs: many years of experience with auto mechanics!!, volunteering at a drug rehabilitation center for teens (counseling and such), and in a club at my school that assists undocumented students getting financial and curricular help. I dont know what else I could do thats relevant to petroleum engineering.
