Region: Broward County
Ethnicity: Hispanic

Good Essay, Good recommendation not sure about guidance counselor recommendation since I don't know her to well (600 kids in graduating class)

I visited UM saturday morning and they said avg. accepted applicant had a B+ or A- and I think an 87 is an B- but then again I was told my GPA was too low...not sure

What do you guys think my chance sare

Which of the SAT numbers are math and CR?
What is your approx class rank?
Any hooks?
Any AP, IB or honors classes? Scores?
Did you also take the ACT exam?
How important is a merit based scholarship to you?

1360 math/cr
School has a no rank policy, hypothetically I would guess top quarter( I’m in NHs)
Latino is a hook?
Only 3 Aps got a 5 others are pending, 13 honors
Act was 28 did not send
I do need some help but not a full ride

Assuming your senior schedule is filled with the 2 APs and all other honors courses (rigor in senior year is considered), then I’d say you are IN with perhaps a 12k merit scholarship. Just guessing of course, and much depends on the rest of the applicant pool.
Good luck to you!

Hmm good to hear and my senior year schedule is good and yes I have 2 Aps and the rest honors I even took an extra after school class (integrated science) because I’m interested I’m criminalistics.

Thank you very much
