Bump :3 will chance back!

What does “bump” mean?

Bring Up My Post, it puts the thread higher on the list.

You’re in at all of the public colleges. The privates are a low reach but you should be fine.

Hmm but aren’t all the publics that i listed all numbers-based o-o;

Your stats are amazing…may I ask what your business did?

You have a good GPA, SAT, and Leadership roles. Your chances are look great everywhere you are applying, really.

CMU - Early Decision: Low Match
USC: Match
WashU - Double Legacy: Probably in
Cornell: High Match/Low Reach
Columbia: Mid/High Reach (as it is for everybody)
Brown: Mid/High Reach (as it is for everybody)
Purdue: Match? Probably in.
Georgia Tech: Match? Probably in.
UCLA/UCB/UCSD/UCSB/UCD/UCI/UCSC: No idea bout the UCs >_>
Cal Poly: See above
San Jose State University: See above

Sorry my chancing sorta sucked, but good luck with applications!

Aww thanks guys  But the gpa is actually quite low - It’s under a 4.0 weighted :o. Our school does have some grade deflation in honors and ap classes though, so I think our val’s gpa is only a 4.2 or so weighted. But my ranks still low due to the huge amount of people in non aps/honors that have straight As (HUGE grade inflation >.>;)

diamondstar - i think i explained over pm ^^; but i create websites, sell them, keep them and have ads, create startups (sites like twiter, youtube, facebook - obviously not as big), etc. i have a new project i’m working on and it’s received some attention from angel investors, incubators, vc firms, etc. ^.^ they like the idea, and i was able to talk about the idea in my cornell essay (topic was what engineering idea you have). not sure if that helped for cornell but meh :D. if i don’t get into cmu, it’s my top choice C:

oh and really random but due to connections, i know i won’t get rejected from columbia. i’ll at least get wait listed - but the connections can’t get me accepted so :3

it all looks good, a 3.7 isn’t bad either! made it seem a lot worse haha

the only thing i would suggest for you personally is drop maybe one of those APs, colleges know when you try and beef up the senior year report and there’s really no point in killing yourself senior year with 4 APs

Not bad. Decent chance at non-ivy schools. Ivy schools are reach just because of the applicant pool. All in all, you’ll definitely hit several from your list.

Aww thanks guys  . A 3.7 w is pretty bad hahaha :o but sorry for making it seem worse XD and ehh i didn’t take it to beef it up :stuck_out_tongue: there were some mistakes on my schedule last year so i wasn’t in as many APS as i’d like to have been in, so I really wanted to challenge myself more this year  they made a mistake again though…so ap physics is missing -_- oh well.

anyone with more…negative opinions? :D

Low reach for the Ivies for obvious reasons, others you have a very good chance at.
Pretty good stats, your business is definitely a gold star on your app, you’ll at least get accepted into several of them.

I hope you guys are right  I’m surprised at the responses though since… my gpa is…just really low haha

Wow you have a lot of colleges on your list! You are a great applicant, but to make your list manageable (unless you are very efficient and have already finished your essays etc.) I think you should drop Columbia/Brown/Few UCs (just a suggestion, apply based on your preference of course).

Good Luck on your applications!

I have drafts for every supplement so far :3 the common app essay is done.

Hmm I know columbia and brown are mega reaches but I’m in love with those 2 schools and would rather not drop them x).

Thank you :D!
