Test again. While ND is probably more holistic and looks for “fit” more than most schools, your scores fall well below their averages. Has anyone with those scores ever been admitted? Sure, but minus a hook it will be difficult.
Is there really time to test over? By the time OP has taken the next administration of the ACT or SAT, her application may have already been acted upon, even if the results haven’t been mailed or posted.
OP has worked hard, and is a student that many quality colleges/universities would kill to have. I wish her luck with ND and any other reaches that she has applied to, but encourage her to spend the rest of her senior year studying, having fun, and researching her safeties and matches.
Sorry. Forgot that the current application cycle was for '22. If it’s not too late to register, the last ACT ND accepts for RD is the early February sitting. I do also believe that if someone is asking for chances, they’d probably like an honest answer, and based on my experience with ND, my answer is as honest as I can give.
hey i’m currently a notre dame student and no offense but the test scores are really high for applicants and i’m just gonna suggest you take the exams again (especially for the math section on the sat)
