Okay, I’m new here and i’m sorry if i posted it in the wrong place
I’m a high school sophomore currently in TX
My GPA is around 3.9 and i have SAT 1 Scores of 2300 along with ACT Score of 33 Composite and I Cant Take AP Classes till Junior Year since my school does not offer them until next year.
I Have won multiple awards for Debates and Mathematics and i have played Basketball for my school as a Power Forward.
I Have also written articles for reputed Magazines and have 100+ hours of volunteering.I also have several other awards and distinctions since I’m not at home now.
Can you rate my chances for the Ivy leagues or MIT?
What is your passion? Intended major? While your stats and ECs are awesome and definitely make you in the running for those top schools, they need more than that. They want to see you have focused ECs in a certain area, or something your passionate about that you’ve worked on possibly relating to your major. If you can work on that and with good essays and recs I think you’ll have a great shot. Thanks. Even I am building on it and will join and create some Maths clubs in my Town
Your academics are pretty good for any school. ECs are impressive and you’re already qualified for most schools. Since you still have time, try adding some diversity to your application, as a different kind of EC, award, or leadership position. Also, a 2300 on the SAT is solid, don’t worry about test scores any more. I wouldn’t send your 33 on the ACT as it less impressive than a 2300 on the SAT. Unless if you bump it up to a 35, just send the SAT only. If you get good recommendations and write a great essay, I think you’re golden for any college.
Chance me back please?

What’s your ethnicity? Other than that I think that your stats are competitive, but your ECs seem sort of generic, which will put you at a disadvantage in the context of the thousands of others with similar stats and ECs.
